First of all, you need to have a real vision. You must see yourself enjoying the lifestyle of success, and you must match this vision with positive thoughts and words. Eliminate every negative thought and all negative speech. Do not let even one single negative word come out of your mouth. Apply the laws of success!
Sow good seeds. Give, give, give to people who are in need. Good seeds beget good harvests. When you give, give secretly. Only God should know about your giving.
By the laws of sowing and reaping, your harvest will surely come. The law of gravity works indiscriminately, so does the law of sowing and reaping.
Next, you must have a well organized plan.
Next, you must have focus and determination and the will to implement and stick with that plan.
Next, you must develop the ability to make quick, accurate decisions. There are people who can recognize an opportunity but they take too long to make a decision. They procrastinate, they move too slowly, and they miss their opportunities time and time again.
Next, you must believe in your self.
Having said all of this, the next ingredient I want to apprise you of is the element of innovation. The more innovative you are, is the bigger your success will be.
My father in law, Ken was a millionaire in sales. He started at the age of 27 as a mere billing clerk and branded and promoted himself as a salesman until he got himself assigned to going out on the road to sell goods. When he went out on the road, however, he encountered the larger more established trading houses had highly skilled rock star type salesmen who had already branded themselves and enjoyed great credibility and popularity.
Some of the largest and wealthiest traders were the Chinese, but Ken looked on as these traders primarily gave their orders to the Chinese salesmen. Eventually, he could not stand it any more and asked one of the most successful merchants why this was so. The old man replied, ” We are mindful of our competitors and so we don’t want them to know the quantities of the goods that we order, as they would use those numbers to predict future prices. So, if there are many salesmen around, we favor the Chinese salesmen who speak the Chinese language.” He told Ken that he liked him an advised him to learn to count in Chinese. Ken laughed and shook his hand and thanked him. Very quickly thereafter Ken began to count in Chinese and the rest is history.
